Description

This role consists of leading several imaging algorithm teams responsible for the creation, prototyping, and ultimate feature delivery of state of the art and cutting edge algorithms and features deployed in the camera stack at several different intercept point from the ISP all the way up through the camera and photos apps. From low level classical image processing algorithms through novel new ML and generative networks, the team creates new technologies that have a presence through the entire Apple camera and photos organizations. As such, the role requires high visibility collaboration with camera teams in the HW, FW, SW, and HI
organizations, as well as a strong connection with camera marketing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Persistent and inquisitive problem solver, committed to driving quality forward.

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and creative problem solver with a passion for quality processes.

  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

  • Established pattern of building strong teams – hiring, motivating, mentoring, and retaining the best engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The role requires an advanced degree in an imaging-related field

  • 10 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years of experience managing engineers.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $262,500 and $433,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
