DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Talented Team Leader to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Pendleton, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Enhancing Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you’ll help maintain a safe working environment.

  • Promoting Health: Reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will contribute to a healthier workplace.

  • Ensuring Compliance: Adhering to HSE standards, policies, and procedures ensures that the workplace meets all safety and environmental requirements.

  • Upholding Quality: Following standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures like SPC and poka-yoke will ensure high-quality outputs.

  • Supporting Delivery: Monitoring team performance and coordinating tasks will help meet work specifications, schedules, and quality standards.

  • Facilitating Communication: Effectively communicating with team members and support teams will ensure smooth operations and quick resolution of issues.

  • Fostering Continuous Improvement: Participating in training and development, and coaching less experienced team members, will drive ongoing improvements.

  • Encouraging Teamwork: Actively engaging in ways to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow will enhance overall team performance.

  • Demonstrate Manufacturing Knowledge : Correctly implement changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function’s needs and contribute towards continuous improvement. This requires a solid understanding of manufacturing principles and practices.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
