The Vice President, Incentive Design and Governance (IDG) will be responsible for leading the IDG function, overseeing all incentive plan governance processes for sales and service roles across the Enterprise, and serve as a strategic partner to cross-enterprise Business leaders and Colleague Strategic Partners. This role serves as the lead consultant on incentive compensation plan design, understanding the unique landscape of each business unit, and owns the governance of Incentive Plans across the enterprise. This role will report to VP, Regulatory, Executive & Incentive Compensation and will be responsible for leading a geographically dispersed team of ~15 people. The individual will be a member of the Colleague Total Rewards and Well-being (CTRW) Leadership Team, and will work closely with key global Colleague Experience Group (CEG), Colleague Strategic Partners (CSPs), Compliance, Sales, and Pricing partners to ensure sound program and plan design, and that the oversight and governance of our programs are competitive, compliant and continue to meet the business objectives while delivering value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the Incentive Design and Governance strategy, ensuring established and evolving principles effectively enable incentive plans across the enterprise

  • Serve as the day-to-day lead over Incentive Design and Governance, ensuring the strategic execution of the team against established goals and objectives, overseeing the budget, timelines, deliverables and quality standards of key process and practices to ensure effectiveness and deliver.

  • Oversee management of incentive plan governance processes as well as integrate it into the total rewards strategy, competitive benchmarking, and pay analyses for all sales and service incentive plans across the enterprise to ensure compliance and competitiveness

  • Lead the Incentive Plan Governance Committee (IPGC) and lead the conversation to ensure appropriate governance and the reporting into parent Committee

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in the incentive space, helping establish and evolve enterprise-wide best practices within the Incentives space, with a heavy focus on risk balancing and governance

  • Develop leading practice incentive structures and approaches that provide seamless delivery of appropriate solutions

  • Serve as the primary contact to the business on incentive consulting and governance framework, acting as a thought leader and advisor on incentive matters in times of change and evolution to effectively gauge and advise on impact to incentive structures

  • Manage business expectations and raise appropriate issues to Senior Leadership

  • Reinforce a strong community of practice, across the end-to-end incentive processes and across business units, through interfacing with colleagues from other practices and regions, offering trainings, sessions, and other opportunities for best practice reinforcement

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the business through effective communication and efficient, high-quality execution of projects, with clear roles and responsibilities across partnering teams for end-to-end Incentive management.

  • Lead the development of new tools and approaches

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience and exposure to a broad range of compensation practices

  • Bachelors in Business, Finance, or comparable

  • Solid understanding of elements of total compensation programs, and experience with design/ governance of incentive plans would be a plus

  • Creative, analytical and results-driven, demonstrated through the ability to draw conclusions, themes, and trends from data analysis, make recommendations on findings and communicate results effectively to a wide range of stakeholders

  • Strong collaboration skills; ability to build relationships within an organization

  • Display polished and well developed oral and written communication skills

  • Bring an enterprise mindset and be able to build connections, leverage existing information and bring external perspective to drive meaningful solutions and impact

  • Collaborative partner who can work cross-functionally and across the CTRW Leadership teams to drive the CTRW agenda forward

  • Proven people leadership skills and ability to lead geographically diverse team, while creating an overall culture of collaboration, engagement, performance, and innovation

  • Provide active leadership to the team, focusing on growth and development of talent and ensuring the right skills, behaviors, and capabilities for impact

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, impact and influence at all levels, including presenting to senior leadership

Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $260,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
