Apple is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance professional to join the Worldwide Procurement Financial Planning and Analysis team. The ideal candidate should possess a high level of initiative, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively with Apple Finance and the Ops Business Partners in a fast-paced work environment. This candidate should also have the ability to learn quickly, perform detailed analyses, provide value-add insights and respond to changing business needs. The ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and uncertainty is desired.
Description
The Worldwide Procurement FP&A group creates and provides analytical support for critical cost data, including standard costs, forecasted costs, and actual costs for Apple. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn about key drivers/issues related to Apple’s products and supply chain and to interface with key Operations and Finance executives. This position reports to the WW Procurement FP&A Manager. The primary responsibilities include:
Planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting and analysis of WW Product Cost to Finance and Operations Leadership
Collaboration and interface with cross functional business partners on financial issues and forecasting
Collection and preparation of key data to create and validate the product cost forecast through analysis
Leverage tools and systems to drive data driven action
Reconcile product cost forecast to actual cost monthly and quarterly
Preparation and analytical support for Apple’s gross margin analysis
Preparation and submittal of quarterly Accrual and booking JV
Provide support for ad hoc requests related to the supply chain and product cost
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of relevant, Finance related experience
5+ years experience in financial planning, forecasting and analysis
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated job stability in increasing levels of responsibility
High degree of enthusiasm, innovation, and dedication
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment
Analytical/problem-solving skills at macro and micro level
The ability to work with minimal supervision while performing a variety of complex and non-routine tasks
Work well in high pressure situations
Strong financial systems and business application skills including; Essbase, BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), Excel, FileMaker, Tableau, and Keynote
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
