We have a fantastic new opportunity for a talented lawyer to join our team of diverse, creative, and hardworking people. As a member of the Marketing, Advertising and Communications legal group, you will work with Apple’s engineering, operations, and marketing teams to help create and introduce Apple products to the world. With passion, dedication, and a desire to tackle challenges, you will play a crucial role as we provide the legal support for Apple’s marketing teams.
Description
You will be one of the primary contacts for Apple’s marketing teams, working closely with a small group of attorneys to advise on Apple’s industry-leading marketing campaigns. Day to day, you will support Apple’s payments marketing teams, helping to bring to life Apple’s products and services. You will advise closely on marketing and compliance related legal issues, particularly as they relate to some of the world’s most innovative financial products like Apple Card and Apple Pay. Successful candidates will embrace the challenge of solving complex issues and conflicting interests in creative and efficient ways and will demonstrate an ability to navigate cross-functional collaboration with both legal and business colleagues alike.
Minimum Qualifications
3 to 5 years of relevant law firm and/or in-house experience.
Experience with marketing and intellectual property law, right of publicity, consumer protection issues.
Knowledge of marketing laws and compliance requirements applicable to consumer finance.
Familiarity with Reg Z, TILA, UDAAP and other laws that apply to the marketing of consumer financial products.
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated adaptability in advising a variety of client teams driven by a diverse set of business objectives.
Comfort handling multiple projects on competing timelines.
Superior verbal and written communication and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Passion for building strong relationships with your clients and with the broader Apple Legal Group is a must.
Strong work ethic, sense of humor, and ability to be a great team member.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $193,000 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
