The Vision Products Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to the development of the next generation of wireless solutions for Apple platforms. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design wireless experiences that enhance the customer experience of Apple products. By joining our organization, you will collaborate with development teams, UX designers and project management teams to deliver an unparalleled level of features across Apple platforms.

Description

We're seeking a passionate and driven Quality Engineer to play a critical role in guaranteeing the excellence of wireless experiences in Apple ecosystem. You must have a passion for exceptional user experience and a dedication to delivering the highest quality products for both our customers and our stakeholders. In this role, you will:
- Champion Quality: Develop comprehensive quality evaluation plans, meticulously report and triage bugs, and proactively identify areas for automation.
- Collaborate Closely: Work closely with development engineers, multi-functional teams, and project management to ensure seamless integration and prevent regressions.
- Drive Innovation: Contribute to the development of new testing methodologies and tools to meet the unique challenges in feature development cycle.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in QA engineering, with a focus on consumer electronics products

• Thorough understanding of Bluetooth (A2DP, HID, HFP, etc.) and BLE protocols, debugging issues from controller and OTA logs

• Proven ability to develop test plans, test cases, and file clear and concise bug reports

• Experience leading projects and coordinating quality strategies across teams or functions

Preferred Qualifications

• BSCS degree would be a plus, but not required.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to triage issues, prioritize effectively, and propose solutions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Intermediate level proficiency with Python.

• Creative thinking and passion for delivering great user experiences to customers.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
