Contacts plays an essential role in connecting people all over the world. The frameworks built by the Contacts team drive the people experiences across all Apple platforms. They power not just the Contacts app, but FaceTime, Phone, Messages, Mail, Calendar, and many more.

We're looking for a passionate software engineer to help us build the foundations of Apple's communication experiences. Our mission: build delightful and magical experiences to help people connect easier than ever before. You'll be joining a passionate team of engineers dedicated to creating reliable, innovative communications technologies that impact millions of users worldwide. Minimum Qualifications

  • You possess strong software development and design skills.

  • You have strong object-oriented programming skills in Swift or Objective-C.

  • You have strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • You are self-directed and can solve problems independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have a strong understanding of building frameworks and daemons for an operating system.

  • You have created and refined APIs intended for other teams and developers to adopt.

  • You have a proven track record of building apps with UIKit, AppKit, and/or SwiftUI.

  • You have a genuine passion for consumer products.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
