Apple's US Decision Intelligence (DI) team is looking for a talented leader who is passionate about crafting, implementing, and operating data products that have a direct and measurable impact on Apple Sales and its customers.
We’re seeking a visionary US DI & Insights Manager to build and lead a diverse team of individual contributors who are experts in analytics and ML responsible for supporting our business, and delivering and maintaining all dashboards and visual insight experiences that power decision-making across the sales organization. You’ll directly manage a team of analysts, ensuring high standards of usability, reliability, and alignment with evolving GenAI and ML-enhanced analytics tools.
Description
In this role, you will:
- Own the delivery pipeline for dashboard features, enhancements, and bug fixes across internal tools.
- Drive ML and statistical analysis to uncover actionable insights and inform decision-making across business domains.
- Partner closely with AI PMs, data scientists, engineers, and sales ops to define visualization requirements.
- Lead through influence — balancing technical mentorship with strategic thinking to enable scalable, high-impact outcomes.
- Establish and enforce dashboard design standards, governance, and accessibility best practices.
- Guide team members in delivering data/business analytics, data storytelling, architecture guidance, and performance optimization.
- Define and track dashboard usage, performance, and adoption KPIs.
- Ensure seamless integration of GenAI/ML-driven insights into the visual experience layer.
- Help triage and prioritize feedback loops with regional and functional teams using the dashboards.
Responsibilities
- You’ll primarily partner with business stakeholders to align priorities and deliver high-quality science and analytics that power decision automation and optimize performance.
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of hands-on experience in data science, AI, analytics engineering, or similar technical analytics roles, with experience across both traditional ML systems and familiarity with GenAI paradigms.
2+ years of experience leading and mentoring data-focused teams.

Ability to lead the development of Data Visualization projects from start to finish.
Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, and modern DataViz best practices.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to drive measurable business impact through data and automation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in stakeholder settings.
Proficiency in programming languages, tools, and frameworks like Python, Git, Notebooks, Dataiku, and Streamlit.
Knowledge of project management, productivity, and design tools such as Wrike and Sketch.
Strong time management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
Able to balance competing priorities, long-term projects, and ad hoc requirements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, constantly evolving business environment.
B.S Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with data science teams on insights generation leveraging LLMs.
Strong experience articulating and translating business questions into Data products & solutions.
Communicate results and insights effectively to partners and senior leaders, as well as both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with anomaly detection and causal inference models.
Sound communication skills - adept at messaging domain and technical content, at a level appropriate for the audience. Strong ability to gain trust with stakeholders and senior leadership.
Passion for fostering inclusive team environments and valuing diverse perspectives.
Advanced Degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Economics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a similar quantitative field are preferred.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $176,600 and $265,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
