How will you make an impact in this role?
As part of the Credit and Fraud Risk organization, the US Consumer Collections Strategy team is responsible for managing credit policies for delinquent and written-off accounts and developing best-in-class collection tools like financial relief program or a late stage collection strategy. These strategies and tools directly impact business profitability through improved credit performance and collections results. The team is also responsible for ensuring on-going monitoring and improvement of credit and collection processes and policies.
The incumbent will work in a team responsible for developing and deploying new credit actions for accounts in delinquency and credit collection process, financial relief program (FRP) or managing critical processes like recovery tools and strategy, deceased collection strategy. The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring on-going monitoring and improvement of credit and collections processes and policies.
The Manager position in US Consumer Collection Strategy team is responsible for building collection tools and strategies for managing stressed accounts better. This would involve deriving insights from various portfolio trends and using those to identify core enhancements to existing programs or create new best-in-class strategies to reduce write-offs as well as provide better customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong analytical discipline, solution-oriented mindset, and focus on outcomes
Previous experience leading and performing analysis using SQL, Python or similar.
Well organized, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and keep adequate prioritization.
Ambitiousness to learn, self-learner of new technologies and usage of digital platforms.
Clear, effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and cross functional environment, interacting with and influencing senior leaders, partners in risk management, global servicing network, compliance and legal.
Team player mentality with a track record of building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional business partners
Drive results and problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications
Work in a team responsible for developing and deploying new credit actions for accounts in delinquency and credit collection process including financial relief program, recovery tools and strategy, deceased collections amongst others.
Partner with several stakeholders including GSG Strategy, Operations, Compliance, Modelling team amongst others to effectively refine strategies and launch changes to market
Manage customer escalations and issue resolution in a timely manner, thereby providing best in class customer experience
Track program performance and ensuring better management of credit policies
Qualifications
Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually bonus benefits
