Our team is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our AppleCare Product Ops team to support planning, crafting, scheduling, coordinating, and implementing tests for projects in the AppleCare On-Device channel.
Description
As a AppleCare On-Device Quality Engineer, you will be tasked with working along side project PMs, developers and testers across multiple teams and organizations to fanatically ensure high quality products for our business and customers while continuously improving testing practices.
Minimum Qualifications
BS degree in computer science or information management plus 3-5 years of related QA experience
2+ years of hands-on experience in test case scripting and quality engineering
Proven track record of driving quality automation, building tools and QA testing
Experience testing on macOS, iOS (mobile apps)
Must have a solid understanding of SQA methodologies and practices
Prior experience with leading QA efforts across multi-functional projects/teams is mandatory
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with multiple customers
Solid experience working with remote teams situated in different time zones (onsite & o?shore teams)
Strong in analytical problem solving skills and looking beyond what’s obvious
Proven bug detection and regression skills
Hands-on development experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with business use-case testing, SAP tools use, quality plan creation, debugging tools usage including Charles, sysdiagnose, accessibility testing.
Cloud based technologies a plus.
