The Specialisterne Academy is recruiting!

The Specialisterne Academy is a fully online, 8-week employment prep program for autistic learners to get a comprehensive blend of technical and soft skill instruction to prepare for the demands of the IT industry.

What makes this program unique?

  • Earn industry-recognized credentials
  • Self-directed eLearning through IBM SkillsBuild, plus real-time instructor-led programming by our partners at Aspiritech
  • Practical, hands-on exercises
  • Small class sizes and supportive coaches
  • Focus on social and professional skills, not just technology
  • It’s free!

Can I apply if I already have IT knowledge and/or experience?

  • This program is best for those looking to build entry-level IT skills.
  • The Academy may not be the right fit if you have completed a degree or training in IT/Computer Science or related fields or if you have experience in a technical field.

Will I receive a job at the end of the Academy?

  • The Academy is an employment prep program, and a job is not guaranteed at the end.
  • Academy participants graduate from the program with an IT Support Technician Certification, as well as applied industry-specific experience and work readiness training.

Check our website to learn more about the program, what you will learn, and get answers to frequently-asked questions.
