The Services External Marketing Group at Apple is responsible for driving new customer acquisition as well as cultivating awareness of Apple’s services and accompanying content, through a variety external marketing channels.
Our growing team is looking for an leader to support the Strategic Planning Team in the Services division. In this role, you’ll be tasked with working cross functionally and with leading a team of cross channel strategists across multiple Services businesses, and owning the strategic vision for our campaign and communications planning function.
Description
This is a key leadership role that supports the external marketing strategies of 20+ unique lines of business within the services organization, each with unique goals and budgets. The role plays an important part in unifying our team, both with internal partners and stakeholders as well as external partners. This individual is responsible for managing the overarching strategy for planning across these distinct lines of business, as well as the development of individual strategy leaders on the team.
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years of experience with managing cross channel media strategies
5+ years managing teams, including people managers.
Experience and proficiency in building cross channel media strategies that are aligned to unique goals across both brand and performance initiatives.
Experience and proficiency in developing communications strategies and audience profiles for strategic direction.
Ability to manage complex and matrixes organizations and deliver clear direction.
Expert-level understanding of the media and social landscape.
Experience with executive level communication on an ongoing basis.
Understanding of media measurement and analytics capabilities; including incrementality measurement.
Experience working with creative teams and collaborating creative and communications strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to manage multiple tasks, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment
Comfortable with working cross-functionally and able to forge strong partnerships with multiple teams and stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly detail oriented and exceptional organization skills
Expeditious and great at always meeting deadlines
