Job Description

This role will strategize the long-term goals and implement training & change management programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees involved in the S&OP/S&OE process. This position manages the execution of training strategy and will maintain functional area training plans while maintaining focus to improve program design, development, and delivery. The role will span cross-functionally within Global Operations, Commercial and Commercial & Operations Finance. A key partner with both internal and external stakeholders, this role drives innovation and adult learning best practices in managing all training programs for S&OP/S&OE. This role focuses on equipping the organization with the necessary tools and techniques to effectively execute S&OP/S&OE strategies and drive business success.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the training department’s organization, administration, and supervision, ensuring effectiveness.

  • In partnership with various stakeholders, develop strategy and lead change management efforts related to S&OP/S&OE (including statistical forecasting) by providing training and support to employees during the implementation of new processes or systems.

  • Develop change management strategies for employees to adapt to changes, overcome resistance, and embrace new ways of working.

  • Represent decision-making authority for training, learning portfolios.

  • Manage a comprehensive learning curriculum based on staff needs and anticipate business demands.

  • Conduct assessments to identify skill gaps and implement consistent methodologies for training needs, course delivery, and training program evaluation/effectiveness measurements.

  • Partner with cross-functional leadership in Operations, Finance, and Commercial to understand the needs of the overall S&OP/S&OE training programs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Lead training projects and programs, ensuring training is completed on-time, is effective, and generates pull through for key projects and initiatives.

  • Evaluate learning indicators, trends, data measures, and identify areas for improvement. Responsible for timely resolution of variance, incident, exception, and complaint issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in learning & development, organizational development, business, physical or life science, pharmacy, or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years program management/supervisory experience preferably in the Learning and Development space and change management.

  • Knowledge and understanding of sales and operations planning processes, methodologies, and best practices are crucial. Understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, production planning, and supply chain optimization concepts to effectively train employees in these areas.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills required, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and large audience.

  • Must be adaptable, agile, and able to work in a dynamic environment with frequently changing rules and priorities.

  • Must be self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and able to complete projects with minimal supervision.

  • Experience managing change associated with complex, global systems or process implementations.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Salary: $137,500 - $261,000
