The Applications team is looking for an experienced Producer to coordinate, drive, and own the development of design deliverables for software initiatives. We are looking for a highly organized, results-oriented individual with extensive experience managing design deliverables in a software product team and/or with a creative agency.
Description
In this role you will be responsible for supporting a team of designers who craft the UI for Apple software experiences and ensure the timely delivery of design deliverables. As the producer, you will strategically drive design development by being highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and perceptive.
You will manage and track the day-to-day progress of the design team, and work to ensure that roadblocks are removed and all open issues are resolved.
You will collaborate and negotiate with cross-functional partners such across the organization to define priorities, align schedules, navigate the approval process, and drive decision-making.
You will coordinate and drive cross-functional reviews, take detailed notes, and communicate results and next steps back to key stakeholders.
A successful Producer communicates with ease at all levels, is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts and leads through relationships and influence.
You will stay detailed down to the granular level, while maintaining a high level perspective of the project at hand.
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years Design Producer or UX Program Manager experience
Track record collaborating with creatives and supporting multi-disciplinary teams to ideate, iterate, and launch new product experiences
Experience supporting software / apps the have deep and complex UX interaction models
Experience managing multiple projects, resources, schedules, and priorities across multiple work streams
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
You are a pro at driving partnerships and building relationships across teams
You understand technical issues at a sufficiently deep level to identify gaps
You demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues to completion
You should be able to anticipate and resolve problems while staying the course on overall business and project priorities
You are comfortable in ambiguous situations and can drive solutions in high pressure situations
You require minimal direction working towards predetermined goals and are able to independently anticipate and problem solve while keeping focused on project milestones
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
