About Credit & Fraud Risk Finance

Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) Finance team delivers fact-based, decision-driven and high-impact credit-risk related insights and deep analytics, PNL stress tests to support regulatory views and governance processes and forecasting of Net Loss Provision. The key objective is to drive prudent financial decisions and support credit-risk strategies while ensuring adherence to governance and controls. This position will be part of a highly talented team with strong intellectual curiosity.

About The Manager, Stress Test Data Strategy & Platform Management

The Manager of Stress Test Data Strategy & Platform Management will play a key supporting role in developing the data roadmap for CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review). This position will help define and implement strategies for managing CCAR delivery platforms (TM1 and AiDA), contribute to driving strategic insights, and support innovation by leveraging Generative AI across the team. Working closely with VP leads and other stakeholders, the Manager will assist in evaluating methodologies, assessing results, and supporting ongoing enhancements through data, technology, people, and Gen AI—helping to ensure robust tech capabilities and system resilience. As an integral member of the CFR Finance & AXP Stress Testing organizations, the Manager will collaborate with key partners to deliver stress testing results for regulatory and management forecasting exercises. This role supports the resilience and reliability of our systems and contributes to strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights and fostering the adoption of Generative AI within the team to promote innovation and enhance capabilities.

Impact You’ll Make

  • Provide strategic and innovative thought leadership with an ability to support multi-year tech roadmaps for CCAR delivery

  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Tech Finance and the TM1 Development team to understand CCAR user needs, design and document functional requirements and deliver prioritized capabilities and features

  • Provide strategic and product development support

  • Drive efficiency and innovation through Gen AI

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including its architecture, Excel-based interface, automation capabilities, and integration with other systems

  • Ability to design and optimize multidimensional financial models and manage data aggregation and reporting within TM1

  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities, user stories, and project timelines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, working closely with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology teams.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and document functional requirements clearly.

  • Strong background in financial planning, P&L modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis

  • Experience in risk and control management, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.

  • BS/MS in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science

  • Leadership – While the manager role is supportive, it still requires initiative in driving efficiency, supporting innovation (including Gen AI adoption), and contributing to continuous improvement

  • Strategic & Analytical – Ability to be a thought partner to help maximize the team’s goals.

  • Excellent communication skills to deliver results and drive engagement with Senior Leaders and key stakeholders

  • Agile Mindset – Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change and work well in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Qualifications

Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually bonus benefits
