Description

Our team is looking for an Systems Engineering Program Manager with a specialty in system level integration and test of communications systems. You will drive teams to define and complete large scale segment test plans to rigorously validate their integration into the system at increasing levels of maturity, then plan and coordinate these activities among many cross-functional teams, testbeds and production platforms. This role will also contribute to and influence internal Apple engineering teams and vendors to realize the network deployment, enabling ground-to-satellite-to-user performance to meet requirements and schedule. Additionally, you will work with the team to ensure consistency across the various systems, identify gaps in test coverage, and streamline testing by optimizing and harmonizing activities across system components. Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems engineering and technical program management experience

  • BS, EE, CS or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated technical program management skills with internal and contracted development teams.

  • Experience with satellite communication systems engineering integration, testing and validation.

  • Ability to see the “big picture” system-level objectives and dependencies across segments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to adapt communication styles as required for different audiences.

  • A curious mind that thrives in a collaborative and fast moving environment.

  • Familiarity with schedule management tools.

  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,300 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
