Apple is seeking a world-class Engineering Program Manager to join the Vision Display Technologies team. Description

Display EPMs must be fearless organizers and excellent multi-functional leaders working with different teams at Apple and external suppliers. A successful candidate will help set strategy, implement schedules and builds, and manage communication of status and issues. This role demands technical strengths in optical, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities include defining project plans and schedules, driving execution, and leading multi-functional engineering and validation teams. It requires strong presentation and interpersonal skills for effective coordination and communication. The role involves understanding complex engineering issues, identifying and resolving conflicts, managing inter-dependencies, and addressing program challenges efficiently. Additionally, the position manages development budgets and oversees engineering builds.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or equivalent experience in ME, EE, IE, Vision Science, or natural sciences (e.g., Physics, Chemistry), or equivalent 3+ years proven experience.

  • Ability to travel internationally

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or equivalent experience in ME/EE/IE degree or equivalent natural sciences degree

  • Knowledge of Vision Sciences

  • Knowledge of display design and process

  • Experience in consumer electronics

  • Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers

  • A working understanding of high volume manufacturing processes

  • Great leadership and project management skills while remaining flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
