Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Implement software solutions leveraging wireless sensing technologies on embedded platforms various applications using Objective-C and Swift. Develop software requirements for desired use cases and utilize a detailed understanding of iOS development, its frameworks, and capabilities to architect robust and efficient solutions for these wireless sensing applications. Assist in developing features based on an understanding of the capabilities of 802.15.4- based wireless sensing. Prepare design reviews and participate in formal code review processes. Develop detailed unit and integration-level test capabilities for software per standard best practices and evaluate software performance relative to key performance metrics. Interface cross-functionally with other software and hardware teams on overall system design. Mentor other team members in software best practices. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 - $272,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • Experience and/or education must include:

  • Leveraging Swift and Objective-C programming languages to design, develop, and deliver iOS applications that effectively demonstrate specific use cases or innovative concepts.

  • Utilizing Objective-C and C++ to create robust and efficient functional blocks and modules required to achieve desired use cases or features

  • Engaging in the design and architectural planning of software solutions based on detailed requirements, client needs, and collaborative interactions with cross-functional teams.

  • Diagnosing and resolving software issues efficiently, utilizing a systematic debugging process to minimize downtime.

  • Developing and executing comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and adherence to project specifications.

  • Utilizing IEEE802.15.4-based wireless communication protocols to design and implement solutions that meet technical and functional requirements.

  • Writing Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and conduct data analysis to create robust and efficient tools that enhance productivity and support project objectives.
