AIML University designs and delivers machine learning focused training and development opportunities for employees across Apple.
We’re seeking a Machine Learning Educator to lead internal training, enablement, and technical onboarding. This role is focused on equipping our product-focused engineers with the ML knowledge needed to develop high-quality machine learning features that improve our customer’s lives.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that combines technical depth, instructional design, course facilitation, and strategic thinking. You’ll influence the internal learning roadmap and how ML knowledge is scaled across Apple.
Description
In this role, you will:
Own the design and delivery of internal-facing ML technical learning curriculums that incorporate a variety of learning formats including, self-paced resources, virtual instructor-led courses, seminars, case studies, and more
Partner with engineers and engineering managers to uncover, align on, and predict technical learning and development needs for areas like architecture, tools, standard processes, and skill advancement
Manage your own projects with a high degree of independence, from scoping and planning to execution and iteration
Demonstrate success of learning initiatives through defined metrics, measurement strategies, and reporting
Develop and implement internal training strategies that align learning initiatives with business goals and values
Develop deep intuition for business needs and build value through training that advances engineering priorities
Minimum Qualifications
Proficiency in core industry ML model types, ML frameworks, and Python
Strong instructional design and delivery skills—you know how to turn technical depth into clear, engaging education
Experience developing and delivering ML training for technical audiences of all skill levels
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or 6+ equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to develop training strategies, articulate their value, and expertly present them to leadership and partners to gain alignment and action
Proven track record working individually and in teams, delivering under tight timelines, and successfully balancing multiple tasks
Experience with engineering on Apple platforms
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
