We are seeking a dedicated Power System Engineering Program manager to drive the development of advanced power adapters system design across the organization. In this role, you will lead collaboration across a diverse, multi-functional team to deliver high-volume power solutions that meet aggressive design goals!

Description

As a System EPM, you will work closely with mechanical, electrical, test and validation teams within Hardware Engineering and across the company to define and develop advanced power adapter systems. You will be responsible for driving day-to-day activities to meet overall program objectives, with a focus on engineering designs, development planning and validation cycles.

  • Drive detailed project schedules and maintain-cross functional communication between internal teams and external vendors.

  • Plan and execute prototype builds, direct factory operations

  • Understand technical issues in details, drive them to closure by bringing key partners together for decision-makings

  • Identify and highlight program risk areas and mitigation strategies in partnership across technology teams

  • Establish and drive program plan. Identify critical paths and support issue resolution across teams

  • Deliver clear program milestone communication tailored to audience ranging from individual contributors to executive leadership.

  • Drive critical decisions involving high level of risk and prioritization to meet tight schedule and cost targets

  • Run development budgets and related activities such as purchase orders, change requests and invoicing

  • Lead module development timeline for new custom components; drive design review and vendors please to see validation schedule

  • Coordinate system integration and compatibly efforts across various system to ensure seamless end-to-end performance

  • Support regulatory and compliance review by ensuring power adapters system meet safety, environmental and regional requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS CE or ME or EE

  • 3+ yrs of relevant hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics

  • 3+ yrs of project management experience - managing complex hardware product schedules and engineering builds down to the small details

  • Ability to operate well in an environment with rapid development cycles and constant change

  • Curiosity and action orientated approach

  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally if required

  • Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS CE or ME or EE

  • Experience as primary point of contact with vendors and CM partners to establish a daily build plan, provide clear direction and guidance to meet the program and build objectives

  • Experience driving a highly diverse set team members and perspectives and yielding the best possible product solution

  • Ability to work on strategic tasks and solve for ambiguous, open ended goals
