Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Craft deep dives in large-scale data to identify key insights that advise product improvements and business strategies. Develop unbiased and relevant performance metrics by leveraging advanced statistical methodologies and domain expertise within Spark and Trino environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate metrics and machine learning models into production by deploying optimized data pipelines that support graphical analytics tools. Conduct deep analytical research on internet-scale datasets to extract key insights and measure incrementality using cutting-edge causal inference techniques. Utilize machine learning libraries and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and R to implement rigorous analytical frameworks. Apply advanced analytical techniques including A/B testing, causal modeling, and counterfactual simulations to assess the impact of multiple interdependent initiatives. Translate findings into actionable recommendations that drive product strategy and enhance user experiences. Performing initiative sizing and scenario modeling to inform business strategy development. Engage in product discussions, providing unbiased benchmarking, and executing high-fidelity simulations in Trino and PySpark to support data-driven decision-making. Integrate Artificial Intelligence into the data science workflow and insights generation. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,783.00 - $258,600.00/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master‘s degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics of Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:

  • Using BI tools such as Tableau and other graphical analytics tools to facilitate information sharing.

  • Using AI models (Gemini, Claude, etc.) and integrating such models into analytics workflow to drive efficiency and scalability.

  • 5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:

  • Using SQL-based languages, and large-scale data languages such as PySpark to derive insights from databases .

  • Using A/B test design to design experiments.

  • Using programing languages such as Python or R to work on multi-language environments.

  • Using Machine Learning Models in areas such as forecasting, classification and causal inferencing.

  • Presenting complex statistical concepts to executive leadership.

  • Using heuristics and empirical analytics methodologies such as difference in differences and benchmarking to produce insights from data.

  • Using SQL or PySpark optimization to query internet-scale data efficiently.

  • Measuring user experience behavior, customer engagement, and business impact using analytic tools.
