AMT’s Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Game Audio, Siri, FaceTime, media capture, playback and API’s for third party developers to enrich our platforms. Description
We are looking for a highly motivated audio enthusiastic and experienced engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance audio APIs using Swift for all of Apple’s platforms. This role combines deep audio engineering expertise with modern Swift development practices to create robust, efficient, well-architected and developer-focused audio solutions. This work involves close collaboration within Audio and with other teams like Media and Swift teams at Apple.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong programing skills (preferably in Swift and C/C++).
Solid understanding of software architecture and API design.
Solid understanding of audio programming, object-oriented methodologies, and multi-threaded programming.
Experience with digital audio
Preferred Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field is preferred
Have a passion for Audio is preferred.
