Apple Pay is growing rapidly, entering new markets and adding innovative new features to the platform. The Apple Pay team is seeking an experienced product manager to join the Issuer Product and Connected Accounts product team. This role will manage a team of product managers.
Description
In this role you will be responsible for developing and managing an evolving suite of product features on the Apple Pay platform. These features are made available to card issuers to develop and launch to their customers through a direct integration with Apple, or through third party scaling partners. This involves identifying customer and issuer needs and business opportunities, and taking them from business case through to market launch by collaborating with the product design, engineering, program management, marketing communications, business development, business operations teams and other functional teams at Apple. In addition, the team is responsible for the ongoing management (including compliance) and enhancement of features, which currently includes the ability to pay with installments and with rewards. The goal is that all features are available globally, which will require engagement with internal teams and external partners across timezones. Features are designed to scale and to be delivered via a self service partner platform.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in leading and developing productive cross functional relationships to deliver outcomes
Experience in managing and developing a team
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Bias for action and comfort with ambiguity
5+ years of product management experience in payments or other financial services, including developing and launching new product features at scale
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with card payments ecosystem
Knowledge of merchant payment acceptance ecosystem, including eCommerce
