Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Define global content strategy for all Siri locales with other international writers. Develop and write character-aligned content and responses for Siri in the German language. Help to evolve and enrich Siri in several languages including German. Refresh and refine existing Siri dialogs. Review dialog suggestions made by other international writers. Translate and adapt Sire dialogs from English into German. Create and maintain Siri’s character and editorial guidelines with the other writers. Develop and maintain style guide for Siri in German and other languages. Quality assurance for editorial responses. Mentor junior international writers. May input on design work. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,878 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Communications or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

• 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:

• Writing, editing, translating, and adapting scripts, dialogs or copy for ads, social media, or Siri.

• Planning and developing content strategy for use cases and adjusting use cases over time for intent, style, tone, and context

• Translating source content and dialogs from US-English to German while maintaining intent, style, tone, and context

• Editing experience checking and correcting dialogs for word choices, phrasings, tone, and style

• Reviewing original written dialogs for style, tone, and content strategy before production

• Proofreading and correcting dialogs for spelling and grammatical errors in German and English

• German Language: Native knowledge or proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading German
