The Customer Journeys Design Team conceptualizes, designs and creates the strategy, content, and experience to promote engagement and acquisition for some of Appleās most visible products including Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple TV+, Apple.
The Apple Services product design team is seeking a conceptual Senior Art Director to be responsible for developing global multi-platform and multi-product customer experiences. We create the strategy and content to promote engagement within our services, including Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple TV+, Apple News, Fitness, and more.
Description
You will be responsible for shaping and informing that creative journey. You will be required to maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners, as well as ensuring that work delivers against Apple standards.
You will be a culture driver with an exceptional eye for detail, a keen sense of what matters and a belief that they can make a big difference. This is a role is for a true creative. A communicator, and problem solver who wants to have their hands in many things at once. You know how to tell stories, on any platform, that drive engagement. You have an intimate understanding of UI/UX and product design, while keeping an active pulse on trends in digital marketing and a creative sensibility that extends across content genres. You excel at building strong cross-functional relationships in fast paced organizations.
Minimum Qualifications
Proven ability to create and direct high-quality in-product media customer journeys
Proficient in Digital, Social, AV, and Print advertising formats and top-of-class design benchmarks
Experience designing for all aspects of subscription-based products, including marketing, sign-up, management, payment methods, communication, cancellation, and re-engagement
A commitment to upholding the principles of transparency, privacy, and trust while supporting business goals
A minimum of 5-7 years significant experience
Experience in a quick-moving and cross-functional environment
Collaborative and team oriented approach
International experience or experience working with global teams
Experience working directly with talent and creators to collaborate on creative development
Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel
Have an advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences
Have experience developing work for a variety of platforms and use cases, and is used to thinking how those impact myriad devices, experiences and scenarios
You're a conceptual thinker who is strategically centered
Deliver highly-resolved work at the intersection of culture and design
Clear and concise communication skills
Ability to manage, drive and design visual design work for multiple situations
Fluency with any of the following: graphic design, video, animation, UX, prototyping, storytelling
You will have an innovative vision for our content and media experiences
Proven ability to create and direct amazing in-product media customer journeys
Have an advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences
Have experience developing work for a variety of platforms and use cases, and is used to thinking how those impact myriad devices, experiences and scenarios
You're a conceptual thinker who is strategically centered
Deliver highly-resolved work at the intersection of culture and design
Clear and concise communication skills
Ability to manage, drive and design visual design work for multiple situations
Preferred Qualifications
Fluency with any of the following: graphic design, video, animation, UX, prototyping, storytelling
A keen ability to create work under minimal supervision, as well as package and present solutions to wider creative teams
Demonstrate strong user experience sensibilities with an uncanny level of curiosity
Collaborate well in a cross-functional design team environment
Have a passion for collaborating with other creatives, and can use that rapport to align others around their vision
Develop big, cut through ideas that get results
Articulate and sell these big ideas to senior leadership in the Services organization and beyond
Build Cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment on deliverable quality and art direction
Find and develop working relationships with new creative and production vendors, as well as strengthening partnerships with current vendors, to conceive and execute campaigns
