The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express products and services through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing, and experiences. We have an ambitious goal: to be the most admired brand in the Fortune 500 and we aim to deliver on that by doing work that is both creative and effective. The Premium Events and Experiences Team sits within GABM. The team executes and enables memorable events and experiences for our proprietary premium Card Members while delivering on product goals and benefit partner experiences. Experiences are a core passion of our Members, and drive loyalty and engagement with our products and our brand.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Events and Experiences, to be a key member of the team and play a critical role in overseeing the E2E Card Member marketing experience. This individual will manage the overall marketing and awareness plan to support activation initiatives.
The role requires strong collaboration across multiple cross-functional business partners, including Product, Brand, Marketing, PR/Social, GCO, Compliance, and Servicing. In addition, the Senior Analyst will work directly with agency partners on building and managing marketing timelines, servicing processes, and Card Member survey deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for 100 events annually, utilizing traditional and alternative channels to drive CM engagement and reach, including:
Oversee annual marketing tracker
Secure placements across product and entertainment eNL channels, organic social, newsroom and MYCA
Manage the creation and approval of landing pages with necessary stakeholders (internal eHub and partner sites)
Gather copy and imagery for placements and facilitate necessary approvals
Oversee proofing and testing of placements
Manage updates to T&Cs and marketing claims
Oversee the Premium Events & Experiences calendar in partnership with Event Managers
Attend cross-functional marketing and servicing meetings to represent upcoming events
Lead deployment and collection of Card Member surveys, and team discussions on insights
Work with Managers and Director on the team to support events where necessary
Skills:
Previous marketing background and a creative, strategic thinker with strong track record of delivering quantifiable results
Proven track record in managing multiple workstreams, partners, and cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to work proactively and drive results with minimal direction
Strong project management experience and relationship building abilities
Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
Confidence in working with individuals at all levels of the organization
Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
Qualifications
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
