Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Engage in thorough research, thoughtful design, effective implementation, and meticulous management of diverse software applications. Conduct rigorous testing and comprehensive evaluation of novel programs, ensuring their smooth operation and performance. Collaborate closely with other developers, Quality Assurance specialists, and DevOps teams, proficiently conveying intricate procedures and concepts to colleagues. Methodically verify and deploy programs and systems to guarantee seamless integration and functionality. Provide expertise in identifying and resolving issues, debugging code, and enhancing the capabilities of existing software. Adapt to project-specific demands, involving tasks including working with databases for efficient data storage, utilizing messaging systems for smooth communication between different parts of the software, and employing caching systems to enhance application speed and responsiveness. Apply strong foundation of computer science principles for application development and design system that is modular, reusable, and easy to maintain. Provide designing, building and operating services powering features for Info Apps. Define and Implement Key Performance Indicators and Dashboards. Define and Implement Operational Dashboards for system diagnostics. Perform 24/7 Periodic On-Call Engineering Level Support of Systems.

40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 - $220,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • 1 year of experience with the following skills:

  • Designing and implementing RESTFul Application Programming Interfaces for the web.

  • Designing and implementing Data Storage solutions.

  • Designing and implementing Object Oriented Computer Code to execute Business Logic.

  • Participating in peer code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to standards.

  • Designing and implementing back-end and server software leveraging the Java and OSS Frameworks.

  • Managing version control practices to facilitate efficient collaboration and code management.

  • Understanding and applying CI/CD processes to support continuous integration and deployment workflows.

  • Debugging software and handling issue triage and reproduction for client/server problems.

  • Engaging in Agile development practices, contributing to sprint planning, task tracking, and efficient delivery of features.
