How will you make an impact in this role?

The Global Commercial Services (GCS) US Small Business Marketing team is at the forefront of digital innovation and delivers highly engaging experiences to prospective business customers. The team strives to attract and convert new business customers through digital touchpoints in order to drive significant revenue growth for American Express. Through the use of innovative paid media tactics and creative, strategic partnerships with leading digital platforms and agencies, and a best-in-class website, the team delivers more than 50% of net-new spend acquired from small business customers.

The Senior Analyst of Small Business Card Shop will be a core member of the Prospect Marketing Site team and will support the full digital strategy for the Prop Card portfolio on the americanexpress.com Small Business website.

This role will help create the best user experience onsite and drive acquisition goals. As we seek to evolve how we sell our suite of business cards to prospective businesses, personalization-driven experiences and capabilities are increasingly important. We are looking for a savvy digital marketer that can understand data, both qualitative and quantitative, and assist in building a high-impact roadmap for our card shop experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Prospect Marketingstrategy and manage operations for specific initiatives through campaign execution and legal reviews; have a good understanding of how to navigate conversations with legal counterparts and be able to delegate certain execution-related tasks

  • Plan/ideate, prioritize and manage site content/design updates and test-and-learn backlogs for business cards product pages; understand the team roadmap and learn how to properly prioritize and optimize tasks

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Digital Analytics, GCO, Compliance and Brand to execute new product pages or site enhancements

  • Find innovative ways to support our customers and improve the site experience

  • Leverage data analysis, both qualitative and quantitative, to better inform strategic pivots, influencing product owners and test-and-learn backlogs

  • Support Site go-to-market strategies for key product launches and refreshes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years professional work experience

  • Previous experience within the digital marketing and/or content marketing space preferred

  • Strong organizational skills, with great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

  • Results driver with exceptional sense of accountability and ownership

  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills who can work independently, as well as within a team

  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships

  • Passion for thinking outside the box, looking externally to find inspiration

  • Great attitude and excited to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Experience in the financial services/B2B space a plus but not required

Qualifications

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
