Description
We are seeking a tenured and flexible Product/Project Manager to drive a series of enhancements to our content operation. The role will require plenty of forward-thinking, but also someone hands-on enough to get things done.
This role is a unique opportunity to help Platoon’s efforts in a fast-evolving, critical area. It will also introduce you to a range of interesting people. … For this reason you will need the ability to connect and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike...and to stay aligned on a long term plan for Platoon’s content operation.
Projects will include, but are not limited to; enterprise-level system enhancements, new content workflows, and the scaling of artist support processes. Where possible, this role will utilize Apple-approved new technologies to deliver exceptional quality at scale.
Success will require an entrepreneurial mindset to deliver value when opportunities arise, and project management rigor to establish a roadmap for a scaled and stable operation.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years Enterprise-level project or product management experience at labels, distributors and/or label/artist services companies
Specialist knowledge of DSP delivery requirements, including Apple Music, Spotify and Youtube.
Specialist knowledge of Apple Music XML and DDEX specifications.
Experience documenting process flows, workflows and systems.
Analytical, with demonstrable critical thinking, and an ability to cut through noise to find fast, workable solutions.
Proven experience applying new technologies to improve processes and experiences.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to build trust and alignment across diverse stakeholder groups and partner organizations.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.
Strategic, long-term thinker able to form a vision around Platoon’s distribution needs.
Demonstrable success coding and deploying tools using languages such as python and javascript.
Flexible and responsive in nature; able to take on challenges while maintaining a curious and steady outlook.
