Summary
Apple Retail is where the best of Apple comes together. We bring our expertise to help people do what they love, delivering an only-at-Apple experience. We believe inclusion is a shared responsibility, and we work together to foster a culture where everyone belongs and is inspired to do their best work.
As a Market/Flagship Leader, you are the face of Apple, embodying the brand both within our teams and our community. You demonstrate deep care for our people and strive to cultivate an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
The Market/Flagship Leader drives business growth and exceptional customer support in a dynamic environment by leading, building, and developing a high-performance team. You make sure the team consistently delivers excellence and creates exceptional customer experiences by selecting and nurturing talent, clearly connecting them to Apple’s vision, goals, and priorities, helping them understand how they contribute to the company’s success. You also extend the market’s reach by developing and deepening relationships with leaders, peers, and cross-functional teams to maximize commercial potential and deliver results.
Description
Lead, develop, and communicate the market’s strategy to achieve Apple Retail’s business priorities and performance goals consistently across multiple stores.
Build a collaborative, agile, and resilient team that’s high-performing and committed to excellence.
Maximize team and store performance by consistently engaging with your team and business — both in person and from a distance — driving opportunities for improvement and continuous growth.
Own and execute Apple’s talent management practices, including recruitment, performance, engagement, development, talent planning, and calibration.
Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with cross-functional teams at Apple to extend market reach and maximize the market or flagship location’s commercial potential.
Drive consistency in performance between stores, reducing variability and outliers through the evaluation of store performance, customer sentiment, and associated KPIs.
Maintain and uphold Apple’s culture, values, and policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as needed.
Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting each other’s differences and having the curiosity to learn.
Demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.
Be a role model for inclusive leadership behaviors and build, develop, and retain diverse teams.
Take action to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members.
Minimum Qualifications
You should:
Be available to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store, and reliably attend work, in line with local laws and subject to any approved accommodations.
Have 7+ years of leadership experience in retail, sales, or a related field.
Have experience leading and managing a business that is high volume, velocity, and revenue in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Understand the external landscape, and local labor laws and practices.
Be proficient in the local language, both written and spoken.
Have knowledge of Apple’s technology and products.
Preferred Qualifications
You can:
Drive exceptional results through strategic leadership, identifying and removing barriers, and fostering an environment where the team is motivated to do their best work consistently.
Cultivate a culture of accountability by delivering on personal commitments and establishing clear expectations to empower others to do the same.
Operate with a high level of integrity and build trust with people from different levels, functions, cultures, and geography.
Communicate confidently and effectively with diverse audiences, adapting your style and approach for maximum impact.
Make timely and sound decisions by using data-driven insights, experience, and judgment to influence broader business decisions.
Manage multiple strategic priorities through effective organization, planning, prioritization, and delegation.
Coach and develop leaders to build high-performing teams that deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive loyalty, and achieve measurable results.
Maintain a positive attitude under pressure, and adapt and grow from adversity.
