Apple is seeking an SoC Cost & Product Strategy Analyst within the Operations Product Development (OPD) organization to help influence early-stage silicon and product roadmap decisions. This role aims to optimize overall SoC spend by balancing yield recovery strategies, product performance requirements, and operational complexities.
Description
As an SoC Cost & Product Strategy Analyst, you will operate at the intersection of Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to provide insights that directly shape Apple’s silicon and product roadmaps.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain or related area
BS/BA in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to grasp complex engineering topics related to silicon design & manufacturing
Experience managing complex forecasting models
Preferred Qualifications
Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to grasp complex engineering topics related to SoCs and silicon design / fabrication processes
Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with strong executive presence and proven ability to influence cross-functionally
Ability to recommend defensible decisions with incomplete data while maintaining both attention to detail and a big-picture perspective
Experience implementing cross-functional multi-user systems and driving process improvements
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in silicon cost modeling, semiconductor manufacturing, and/or yield recovery techniques
Familiarity with AI/ML applications for decision optimization
Demonstrated success in implementing systems and/or cross-functional process improvements
