Software engineers working on StoreKit deliver high-performance, robust, and clean code spanning across several external and internal frameworks, system daemons and agents, and user-facing apps. We also work cross-functionally with many teams at Apple to design and implement features that span across systems.

Description

StoreKit powers global In-App Purchase commerce across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS. We are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining In-App Purchase features, but our work goes deeper than the public APIs you may be familiar with – we also deliver internal APIs to critical Apple clients. Our code processes and serves data that powers many user interactions on Apple devices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Work closely with teammates and other teams at Apple to architect solutions to complex problems

  • Write tests and documentation to maintain reliability and a top-notch developer experience

  • Investigate and resolve bugs and enhance performance of our frameworks and system processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong programming fundamentals and experience with Swift and/or Objective-C

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking ability

  • Creativity and innovation with practical applications

  • Passion for delivering great developer and user experiences
