Job Description
Purpose
Oversees daily activities across multiple warehouse sites, both internal and external. Responsible for ensuring efficient storage, handling, and shipping of BDS & BDP, maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring inventory accuracy, coordinating logistics, and enforcing safety compliance. They are also accountable for quality compliance within all warehouses, including involvement in both internal and external audits.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including the receipt, storage, order fulfillment to the shop floor and shipment of products (i.e. Raw Materials, BDS, SVP and Finished Products) to affiliates in US and Out of US. Organize warehouse space for optimal use while maintaining safety requirements for hazardous materials, plus temperature and humidity controls.
Responsible for the handling of inventory discrepancies and shipment issues through a systematic approach involving investigation, reconciliation, corrective action, and preventive measures. In conjunction with the finance representative conduct regular physical counts and compare them to inventory records to detect discrepancies. Investigate to find root causes by reviewing transaction records, auditing workflows, and interviewing involved staff.
Implement strict receiving and quality control processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and documentation (i.e. material storage requirements). Ensures the inspection of inventory for damages or defects, immediately upon receipt, and proper segregation of unverified or discrepant items pending investigation before adding them into inventory.
Train staff in hazardous material handling, spill response, and emergency procedures. Ensure storage areas comply with OSHA and relevant international safety standards
Manage and lead a team of warehouse supervisors and coordinators, providing training, performance evaluations, and development opportunities.
Assign optimal storage locations based on material type (e.g., Raw Materials, BDS, SVP and Finished Products). Use inventory management systems to track stock and location. Enforce separate, compliant areas for hazardous materials, and continuously monitor temperature/humidity as required.
Ensure all warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is regularly inspected and maintained to prevent safety events or disruptions.
Maintain and analyze data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reports that provide insights into warehouse performance and suggest areas for improvement. Work closely with procurement, production, supply chain, and quality assurance departments to synchronize operations and meet production demands. Evaluate and integrate new technologies, such as automation or advanced warehouse management systems (WMS), to optimize operations.
Assist in the fulfillment of health, safety and environmental requirements and compliance obligations, promote continuous improvement and consider EHS aspects during the design and change process.

Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required

Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
Frequent to continuous computer usage (greater or equal to 50% of the workday) is required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Experience in and FDA regulated industry, pharmaceutical is strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other manufacturing and warehouse management software (WMS) systems, such as SAP. Familiarity with industrial automation (distributed control and PLC based systems).
Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMPs is required
