The Apple Retail Business Planning team sits at the center of Retail, supporting the Retail Leadership Team. This team is responsible for connecting the strategies and plans across the teams, and for driving key initiatives forward.
Description
This role requires managing a team of individual contributors to manage the organization’s priorities, ensuring alignment across teams, driving critical initiatives, and supporting the Retail Business Planning Director in decision-making processes. The Senior Manager, Retail Business Planning Team will work closely with senior leadership, providing operational, project management, and organizational oversight. We are looking for a “stitcher”, who has extensive experience with storytelling across both business and financial plans. The ideal candidate has strong business and financial acumen, is organized, strategic, and possesses excellent management, leadership, and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
This role typically requires 10+ years of work experience in strategy, finance, or business development role in a Retail-centric environment; 8+ years related experience with a strategy consulting firm or investment bank, and/or experience as a Chief of Staff at a large organization
5+ years people management experience
Experience managing relationships and working cross-functionally within global organizations
Ability to understand and articulate the big picture to executive teams, while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details
Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate complex meetings with executives and partners across multiple functions in an organization
Excellent program management skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Excellent Keynote / Powerpoint and Excel skills
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Outstanding analytical skills and experience in collecting, analyzing, and tracking key business data
Relentless focus on details, accuracy, and quality
Exceptional influencer that knows how to connect the dots at the project, team, and organizational levels
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $216,000 and $324,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
