The Evolve Rotation Program is a full-time, two-year technical development program within Services at Apple for new graduates early in their careers. The program launches in Summer 2026 and offers you the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally through mentorship, curated projects, and assignments across multiple teams.
We are looking to identify and develop the next generation of technical contributors. During the Evolve Rotation Program, you will be placed on projects that allow you to work on significant, high-impact work on various Engineering teams. Rotations are designed to deepen your domain knowledge and strengthen your technical expertise within Backend Engineering, Machine Learning, Full Stack Engineering, or iOS Engineering. Upon successful completion of the program and subject to business need and performance, we will make our best efforts to help you transition into a non-rotating full-time employee role within Apple.
This is a 2 year program which starts July 2026 and runs through June 2028.
Description
Evolvers will benefit from a combination of on-the-job work experience and development opportunities. Over the course of two years, you will rotate through two distinct teams, gaining valuable experience and exposure to multiple projects designed to help you develop a strong foundation. Teams you could rotate within include: Apple Wallet, Payments & Commerce, Apple Services Engineering, Apple Maps, Apple Applications.
Program Eligibility:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree with a required graduation date of Winter 2025 or Spring 2026.
- Required majors include: Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Must be able to start in July 2026.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 6+ months of internship experience & proven proficiency with one or more of the following programming languages or technologies: Java, Python, Objective-C, Swift, JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, Hadoop, Cassandra, SolrCloud, and Kafka
Must have one or more of the following skills depending on your focus area: C, C++, AWS, Client/Server Architecture, Golang, Rust, Postgres, SQL, NoSQL, Scala, Spark, React, Angular, Node.js, Spring, Kubernetes, Generative AI, Agent Design, Foundation Model Tuning, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Networking/Distributed Systems, and the ability to quickly learn new technology stacks
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Interpersonal skills: Conveying sophisticated ideas to multifaceted audiences, brainstorming with teams, and optimally debating ideas
Attention to detail, data-driven decision making skills, ability to handle ambiguity
Able to present complex projects in a focused manner to senior leaders
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $120,300 and $210,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
