DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented onsite Service Administrator to join our team specializing in service for our branch in Downey, California.

In this onsite role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with customers by phone, email, and face-to-face interactions at the branch, developing positive relationships with key customers.

  • Identify customer’s needs, gathers pertinent information, provide quotes, develop claims, prepare repair plans and provide status updates to customers on repair work.

  • Create complex work orders including diagnostic plans, quotes and repair plans by determining the length of repair based on parts and labor availability; review plan with the Service Supervisor/Team Lead prior to customer contact.

  • Open and review work orders to ensure accuracy for invoicing and warranty, explain charges to Customers to resolve any concerns and close work orders once complete.

  • Work with Service Supervisor and/or Team Lead to schedule job assignments, monitor key performance metrics for the Workshop, including labor productivity and Customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this onsite role you will need the following:

  • Requires significant and/or in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training.

  • Knowledge of Diesel and/or Natural Gas Engines required. Prior experience in a shop service environment, repair and warranty related field preferred.

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner.

  • Must have excellent computer skills using multiple computer monitors and multiple software platforms, knowledge of Cummins QSOL preferred.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

  • Please note, this position is 100% onsite at our Branch in Downey, California.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • Technical Trade School/Vocational Diploma or Certification or equivalent experience required.

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
