Description
The AppleCare Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the WW AppleCare Finance organization.
This highly visible and challenging position owns AppleCare Product cost for both sustaining and NPI (New product introduction) programs
Leverage business acumen and analytical ability to develop cost modeling used by various AppleCare organizations to make critical business decisions.
Develop complex cost analysis including sensitivity analysis, what-if analysis, and cost-benefit analysis to drive cost improvement and design for repairability.
Ability to examine large data set, and identify cost levers to guide cross-functional team decisions and actions
Ability to communicate complex analysis and projects to senior leaders
The analyst will partner closely with cross-functional teams to determine failure rates, costs and service strategy. This includes AppleCare Readiness Engineering, AppleCare Business Operations, AppleCare Business Intelligence, Services Operations, Trade compliance, Planning and Procurement
Monthly and quarterly AppleCare product cost submission for product cost roll-up and warranty accrual
Assist in providing supporting documents for related SOX controls
Periodically review current process to identify shortfall to future needs, streamline and enhance as needed, and implement automation initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
5 years experience in Finance or Accounting
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations or other related field of study
Proficiency in Excel and Tableau
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting to leadership groups
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with and influence business partners
Strong work ethics, self-driven, growth mindset, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Knowledge of Dataiku and experience with Snowflake is strongly preferred
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
