The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.
Overview:
The Senior Analyst, Savings Marketing – Acquisition will join a Deposits Marketing team focused on unlocking new revenue streams by expanding the number of relationships we have with our customers –specifically in the Banking space. This role will specifically be responsible for marketing to acquire new Savings account holders. This Senior Analyst will play a central role in the development of overall marketing strategy and building the campaign roadmap while partnering with teams across Marketing, Product, Product Development, Finance, Pricing, Compliance, and Analytics to bring these strategies to life.
The role requires a customer-centric marketer who is motivated by working in an ever-changing environment and can pair creative, solution-oriented thinking with customer insights to create effective strategy and campaigns. This role is an opportunity to help deliver marketing for product whose success is critical to the overall success of the Amex business and requires a strong communicator collaborator to help deliver the plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Plan Development - Partner with multiple teams across the enterprise, including product teams, marketing teams, legal, compliance and risk, as well as external creative agencies to develop innovative marketing campaign plans with clear test & learn strategy across channels such as email, web, mobile, and paid search.
Campaign Execution Oversight - Partner with marketing execution, operations and data science to design segmentation and deploy on-time, compliant campaigns across channels – leading testing, proofing, and launches.
Cross-Team Collaboration - Lead internal communications to enable greater speed and agility and improve marketer and broader working team experience.
Marketing Performance Measurement - Lead the forecasting (R&O), analysis, measurement and reporting out of campaign, channel, and business performance vs. forecast. Proactively identify key trends which can inform future campaigns.
Minimum Qualifications:
Passionate, data-driven marketer with ability to understand and translate data into action items that will drive performance to future marketing campaigns.
Strong marketing know-how. Previous experience implementing marketing plans across channels in a fast-paced and results-driven team.
Natural teammate with strong and effective communication skills who can work collaboratively on diverse cross-functional teams.
Strong planning and organization with ability to lead highly interdependent, complex initiatives and keep various workstreams on track.
Creative problem solver with a bias for action and proven ability to adapt when priorities change.
Comfortable in white space and creates structure from unknown
Experience leading Forecasting (R&O) is a plus
Strategy and campaign oversight on Email and Direct Mail are a plus
Bachelor's Degree Required

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
