Job Description

Purpose

The Finance Manager, AbbVie Complete Access (ACA) drives the financial planning and analysis processes and requirements across businesses supported. Provides accurate and timely financial analysis and planning deliverables to meet both AbbVie Corporate FP&A and the site’s FP&A requirements. Lead the site’s volume forecast and demand planning as part of the site’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. Works closely with business leaders developing financial forecasts, labor standards, and financial models to support decision making related to business issues, such as forecasting trends/analytics, cost per service analysis, profitability of new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Finance Lead and manage the site’s demand planning, review forecasting trends, forecast accuracy, and the forecast proposal with the site leadership team.

  • Lead the Finance Lead and partner with business leaders to create labor standards for direct labor roles, proactively trending and reporting performance against the planned standards.

  • Lead the preparation of the annual Long-Range Plan, annual Plan, annual Update, monthly Latest Best Estimates across the business supported to ensure that they are achievable and consistent with overall AbbVie Complete Access (ACA) business and Supply Chain objectives.

  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely monthly actual results, including variance analysis and commentary for P&L, headcount and balance sheet. Understand monthly results and communicates issues vs. benchmark to business supported to agree on resolution or action plan.

  • Provides management with clear insights into drivers of business and financial performance and risk; assesses business/market opportunities and informs/recommends prioritization decisions.

  • Identify & implement cost savings opportunities to achieve Standard Margin Improvement (SMI) initiatives.

  • Participate on project teams as required, developing sound analytics which provide senior management necessary information to make decisions.

  • Partner with Transfer Price, Business Process Organization (BPO), and other areas within AbbVie to support the launch of new products within ACA.

  • As a people manager, coach and develop staff, and foster a collaborative & inclusive culture.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting desirable.

  • 8+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably across a range of Finance functions.

  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, ability to summarize complex financial analyses in a clear & concise manner.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment, develop staffs and build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Highly proficient working with MS Office tools, SAP. Experience with BPC and PowerBI a plus.

Salary: $106,500 - $202,500
