Summary
The Portable System Integration Manager is a leadership role responsible for the seamless integration of electrical systems into complex, multi-disciplinary products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, coupled with a strategic mindset to drive innovation and efficiency in system integration processes. This manager will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical designs meet stringent performance, safety, and regulatory requirements, while also optimizing for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability. Description
As the Portable System Integration Manager, your primary responsibility is to lead and manage a team of electrical engineers focused on integrating electrical components and systems into our products. This encompasses overseeing the entire integration lifecycle, from initial design, prototyping, component selection, testing, validation, failure analysis, and final production release. A key aspect of this role involves defining and implementing electrical architectures that optimize performance, reliability, and safety, while adhering to all relevant industry standards and regulations. This position requires close collaboration with other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project goals.
You will be expected to provide technical guidance and mentorship to your team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to troubleshooting complex electrical integration issues and implementing effective solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Five years of experience in electrical engineering.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of lead or management experience
Desire to be a visible project leader and decision maker
