Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Review Product Graphic Visual Matrixes, MPN/CTO Matrixes, and NPCM lnbox Matrixes to ensure that all components of a localized BOM are compliant with regulatory requirements. Build localization PORs and SKU optimization proposals to support NPI TDM development facilitated by Apple Readiness team. Build and enhance Apple's elist, GLiDe, CAAT, and FANSI tools capabilities to support effective BOM localization in Agile PLM. Coordinate implementation of 034 Reg Docs, 099 FG Labels, and Localized info Guides, with all appropriate regulatory labeling and in close coordination with Regional Compliance, Environmental Affairs, and Trade Compliance teams. Validate FAI submissions from Apple Vendors to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements specified in localized BOMs. Manage a portfolio of localized product configuration Bills of Material for AMR & for driving cross-functional resources to meet deadlines. Handle compliance projects to ensure adherence to all requirements to ship product into Latin America. Collaborate with multiple groups incl: AMR Engineering Compliance Managers, NPI Launch program managers, Corporate Compliance, Trade Compliance, WW Product Marketing, WW Product Configuration, Hardware Legal, Region Legal, Engineering, Localization & Release Engineering and others to deliver solutions to meet the needs of evolving business opportunities. Drive large scale, multi-year, multi-SM capital project roadmap to improve long-term capabilities & scale business processes. Present, defend, and influence supply chain capability & technology roadmap to Apple's senior executive leadership and crossfunctional stakeholders. Manage cross-organizational teams to roll out new products, systems, and solutions to market while ensuring complete confidentiality, driving organizational, systems, and people readiness. Develop time dependency models for key milestones, building contingency plans and knowing when to recommend changes and/or when to escalate. Evaluate supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate consumer impact, including ad-hoc problem solving during unprecedented events. Identify process improvement opportunities (tools, workstreams, systems) and drive solutions from conception through implementation. Support continuous innovation within the team, advocating directs to use subject matter expertise to drive positive change management. Stitch across a global cross-functional teams throughout the supply chain, both technical and functional, adjusting communication and messaging for intended audience/stakeholders. Demonstrate and explain complex business plans/processes, systems, and/or tools with a focus on the upstream/downstream impact and relationship between multiple functions and/or decisions. Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gain perspective on scalability, risk, and unique regional differences; drive best practices globally and strengthen harmony among integrations. Own new product/systems/tool launch plans, providing updates on critical checkpoints and elevating risks to business partners and executive team. Ensure customer and internal confidential data is protected throughout our supply chain. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations.

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience with the following:

  • Proficiency in Agile PLM, Siemens Teamcenter, or other equivalent PLM systems for managing product data, with a focus on BOM configuration and localization.

  • Expertise in managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and regulatory change management throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Regulatory Compliance, Legal, Product Marketing, and Supply Chain.

  • Knowledge of automation tools and process improvement methodologies to enhance PLM workflows.

  • Skills in developing custom reports and performing analytics to assess localization strategy effectiveness and compliance.

  • Familiarity with reviewing product graphics, configurations, and compliance with regional regulatory standards.

  • Experience in coordinating the implementation of regulatory compliance documents, finished goods labels, and Technical Product Documents (TPD)
