The Global Investment Optimization (GIO) team is core to the Marketing Organization, with a primary function of developing and driving Segment / Channel / Product strategy through management of core investment planning processes. The GIO team manages $1B Marketing budget that fuels the growth of the organization.
GIO is seeking an Senior Analyst to oversee investment management which includes business planning, performance management and decision support. Additionally, he/she will partner with key stakeholders across the business to deliver accurate business updates, performance insights and recommendations to drive results across Global Marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage monthly Risk and Opportunities model and performance insights which drives re-prioritization of investments across the portfolio
Drive the Annual Planning process for keys Segments within Marketing which includes setting baselines, working with leadership on Global Assumptions, create decks and present to stakeholders on optimal allocation of Investment dollars
Be the primary point of contact for GIO supporting a specific Segment within Marketing
Use Amex large data to form key insights, influence leadership to help drive the business forward
Lead projects that will enhance the overall investment process to run the business more efficiently
Minimum Qualifications:
Effective communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to simplify and translate complex business outcomes and analysis to key partners
Strong project management skills to stay on top of all deliverables, effectively prioritize and deliver on time (delivery of work are tied to specific business days in the month)
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Initiative-taking individual with excellent collaboration and influence management skills
Strong financial acumen and experience with marketing measurement plans and metrics
Detail oriented with a strong commitment to excellence
Qualifications
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
