Description
Imagine crafting solutions the world doesn't know of yet! The Sensing Systems team integrates MEMS, magnetic, and capacitive sensors across a variety of Apple products such as iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. We bring devices to life, enabling them to interact with users and the environment in ways never imagined before. The Touch ID team develops sensors that are central to the security and convenience of Apple products. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sensor Architect to play a key role in the development and integration of next-generation Touch ID technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Strong EE fundamentals with demonstrated experience in all phases of circuit design and development.
Experience with silicon development, packaging, process definition, requirement validation and proficiency in circuit design and layout.
Experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, meters, etc.) and circuit simulation (SPICE) as well as creating engineering design, requirement, and specification documents.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with biometric sensors, firmware, and algorithms.
Experience in FEA, simulation, and modeling tools (Comsol, ANSYS, Maxwell).
Experience with statistical analysis of production data (JMP, Tableau).
Experience with high-volume mass production.
Proficiency in MATLAB and Python scripting tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
