The Worldwide Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) team is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives that directly impact Apple’s Supply Chain and Retail Fulfillment Operations, with the goal of surprising and delighting our customers. In this role, you’ll influence, support, and implement forward-looking capabilities to help Apple stay ahead of the competition.

The Retail Fulfillment Operations portfolio spans a wide range of programs, including the expansion of both online and physical retail stores, new and enhanced fulfillment methods, innovative gifting, payment and affordability options, trade-in and repair strategies, retail replenishment and inventory management, and enabling Apple’s 2030 sustainability goals. Success in this role requires deep expertise in supply chain fulfillment operations and the ability to manage complex global projects.

Description

The candidate will be responsible for leading global, cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative technology and process solutions that enhance customer satisfaction, build loyalty, drive revenue, and increase operational efficiency. This role will also collaborate with senior leadership and global teams to define process and capability roadmaps that shape the future of Apple’s Retail Fulfillment Operations in alignment with our evolving retail strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, or related field required.

  • Minimum of 10 years in project and program management combined with logistics, supply chain, and fulfillment operations with e-commerce and/or retail highly preferred

  • Experience in managing global, complex projects including stakeholder engagement, and risk management

  • Consistent record of leading strategic programs, combined with the ability to execute tactical project-level activities and tasks

  • Experience in defining and implementing KPIs for operational metrics. Identify critical success measures for projects being implemented

  • Proficient knowledge of process mapping and other process analysis techniques

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in similar field above, or MBA preferred.

  • Ability to serve as a liaison to Operation business teams to develop solution capabilities (requirements, solution architecture, user testing, etc.) to support Retail Fulfillment programs, as well as Information Technology teams to design and implement robust technical solutions

  • Work with business leads to define and run business process and technology roadmaps in support of long-term functional strategies

  • Ability to capture and synthesize detailed, global business requirements and design specifications

  • Experience in coordinating user acceptance testing, roll-out, training, and post-mortem support

  • Ability to lead change management activities, implementing new ideas effectively within the Apple culture; Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership, and a customer-focused approach

  • Ability to address escalations, quickly assess and develop root cause analysis and problem solution for operations escalations

  • Broad supply chain management, payment processing experience, and/or fraud mitigation in specific areas related to logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, inventory management, or order-to-cash

  • Relevant experience working with online and retail merchandising systems, data management, data architecture, payment, fraud, and CRM systems

  • Understanding and/or experience with SAP, Global Track and trace systems, Carrier integration knowledge, Warehouse management systems, Distribution Center operations knowledge, Business Objects, and other key reporting technologies

  • Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles

  • Proficient at running multiple efforts simultaneously in a global capability, which includes working on projects with global teams

  • Proven ability to lead teams with or without direct reports; natural leader and motivator, lead through influence

  • Relevant project management qualifications preferred, such as PMP / Scrum Master certification

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $195,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
