DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Student- Photo Editor and Photographer to join our team specializing in General Management for our Cummins Inc. facility in Florence, KY.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Enhance Visual Appeal : By capturing high-quality product images, you'll significantly improve the visual appeal of both print and online materials, attracting more customers.

  • Streamline Workflow : Your proficiency in photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop will enable you to efficiently edit and release images, speeding up the production process.

  • Boost E-Commerce Sales : Supporting the E-Commerce team with content updates will help keep the online store fresh and engaging, potentially increasing sales.

  • Maintain Brand Consistency : Your attention to detail in reviewing and editing images will ensure that all visual content aligns with the brand's standards and aesthetic.

  • Innovate with Creativity : As a proactive self-starter, you'll bring new ideas and creative solutions to the table, enhancing the overall quality of the visual content.

  • Improve User Experience : High-quality images can improve the user experience on the website, making it easier for customers to make informed purchasing decisions.

  • Support Marketing Efforts : Your work will directly support marketing campaigns by providing compelling visuals that can be used across various platforms.

  • Collaborate Effectively : Working independently yet supporting the E-Commerce team shows your ability to collaborate effectively, contributing to the team's overall success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Technical Proficiency : Master the use of various photographic equipment and software applications like Ortery and Capture One. Training will be provided, but a proactive approach to learning will be beneficial.

  • Quality Control : Maintain high standards throughout the production process by consistently reviewing and editing images to ensure they meet the required quality.

  • Creativity and Innovation : Participate in strategic and creative concept development to produce visually appealing photos. Stay updated on new developments in photographic and editing technology to bring fresh ideas to your work.

  • Organizational Skills : Efficiently manage photographic archives and document related images for future searches, ensuring easy access and retrieval.

  • Communication : Serve as a principal source of information on photographic equipment and techniques, providing guidance and support to colleagues.

  • Attention to Detail : Pay close attention to the details in each project to ensure the final images are of the highest quality and align with the desired outcomes.

  • Independence and Initiative : Work independently in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative and being productive with minimal direction.

  • Collaboration : Support the E-Commerce team with content updates and other projects, demonstrating your ability to work well within a team.

Education/Experience:

Enrolled undergraduate student with photography and photoshop experience.

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
