Description

As a QA Engineer, you will assume the responsibility of ensuring the quality of device compatibility with Apple products. This entails interoperability validation and testing compliance protocols for USB, Thunderbolt, DisplayPort, and HDMI. You will have the opportunity to automate tests when feasible to improve test coverage and provide a comprehensive analysis of the identified issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interoperability testing for technologies including USB & HDMI
  • Review product capabilities and develop a customized test plan to address risks.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to review test strategies and validation status.
  • Run protocol compliance validation (USB, DisplayPort, HDMI, and others).
  • Communicate technical concepts to wide-ranging audiences.
  • Take ownership of multiple concurrent projects and provide consistent status updates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar engineering field

  • Understanding of USB, Thunderbolt and DisplayPort technologies

  • Experience working with industry standard protocol compliance test tools

  • This position requires 100% on-site work (no remote work)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Compliance Test Specs for USB, DisplayPort and HDMI

  • 3+ years of QA experience testing interoperability

  • Familiarity in debugging with logic analyzers and protocol analyzers

  • Automation script development using Python or Shell Scripting
