Summary
Join Apple's Graphics, Games, and Machine Learning (GGML) organization as a Game Performance Automation Engineer. The Game Performance Automation team is responsible for building a world-class automation and infrastructure solution to measure game performance across our products and competitive hardware at scale. The team is at the intersection of cutting-edge graphics software and high-performance hardware. We collaborate closely with teams across Apple involving technologies like Apple Silicon, Metal, and AAA gaming.
Description
We are seeking a motivated and highly technical Game Performance Automation Engineer to design, build, and enhance automation frameworks that ensure exceptional gaming experiences across Apple's entire product ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can drive sophisticated automation projects independently, with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving requirements. Minimum Qualifications
BS degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of directly related work experience can substitute for the education requirement
Strong development skills in Swift, Python, Objective-C, C++ or similar languages
Experience developing robust and repeatable automated testing solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems both independently and cooperatively.
Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge and experience with performance testing.
Experience with XCTest and Xcode.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
