Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Handle design, implementation and optimization of core algorithms for next-generation sensors perform data and failure analysis, cross-functional design, and debugging. Work with other partners such as algorithm, hardware and firmware teams to take complex algorithms from proof of concept all the way to shipping in products that are used by millions of customers every day. Maintain and improve existing offline processing pipelines. Produce the next generation of human interfaces for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and exciting new products. Clean and analyze data, and build and test algorithms, and finishes with detailed implementation and analysis. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,470 - $220,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupation.
Experience and/or education must include:
Use C language to ship algorithm and implementation.
Use scientific programming languages (Python/MATLAB) to code and prototype algorithms.
Use Signal Processing to develop algorithms.
Use Statistical modeling to characterize the aggressor on the sensor stack and understand Algorithm behavior.
Use Applied Math to optimize algorithms.
Experience in stress testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and integration testing of the algorithm.
Root-causing hardware and algorithm issues, and designing solutions to address them.
Researching technical findings and communicating them to a team of engineers.
