APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Contribute to the pre and post-silicon bring-up of new products using our new GPUs; Develop drivers and supporting existing graphics APIs and new GPU features for new GPU Architectures; Maintain build/test regression systems and preparing driver software release drops to GPU hardware and pre-silicon model teams; Develop tools to assist with debug and performance assessment of new GPUs and Driver Software; and Implement and debugging graphics and compute applications to test GPU features. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 - $272,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related scientific field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Utilizing C Programming to develop low level software for embedded systems.
Using operating systems knowledge to work on and improve the overall design of embedded multi-threaded software.
Utilizing computer architecture knowledge to work on, improve and debug embedded software.
Utilizing software architecture knowledge to contribute to long term roadmap for embedded software architecture.
Utilizing hardware architecture to design software support for new hardware features.
Leveraging debug tools such as source code debuggers to track down software issues.
Using debug tools, computer architecture knowledge and collaboration with hardware teams to root-cause hardware issues.
Leveraging performance measurement, analysis, and optimization to improve performance of an overall software system.
