Our team (iOS System Spaces) is responsible for a significant portion of the iOS system experience including wallpapers, lock screen, home screen, and control center! Description

We’re looking for someone passionate about taking iOS to the next level. You will lead the team at the forefront of personal customization for the most popular software platform to ever exist. The SpringBoard Lock Screen team is responsible for the entry point to experiencing an iOS and iPadOS device. The lock screen in many ways is the face of iPhone and iPad.

To “put a ding in the universe,” and that’s not easy. You’ll be expected to push the envelope. To ship compelling designs at the very edge of what’s technically possible. To challenge your engineers, peers, manager, and various senior leaders to push things forward. You’ll have a voice in the room as critical decisions are made that will affect, impact, and improve the day-to-day lives of countless individuals.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.

• Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, architecture, and design

• Experience developing with UIKIT, SWIFTUI, or other application frameworks

• Open-Minded with strong Collaboration skills

• ^ Not kidding about this, you will be learning constantly and collaborating extensively with peer teams, designers, teams across apple, and senior leaders

• Charismatic leader capable of inspiring your team and others to action

• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

• Ability to think laterally and ask incisive (and sometimes foolish) questions

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
